Signature of owner Rabbi “Yitzchok Simcha HaLevi Horowitz Rav in Hartford (City in Connecticut)”. At the end of the volume is an index hand written on some of the chapters. (perhaps in his own handwriting)

Rabbi Yitzchok Simcha HaLevi Horowitz, .(1869-1936) student of Yeshiva Mir –Velozen, received Horoah from the Ntzi”v, and Rabbi Yitzchok Elchanan of Kovna. From 1892 he was Rabbi of Hartford – Connecticut in the United States for over 40 years.
