Many inscriptions in the sefer amongst them “I sold this to my son in law Rabbi Yoseph”, Rabbi Yoseph grandson of Harav M…. tz”l. ‘Belongs to the famous Harav HaChasid …..Av Beis Din of Tzfas, this maybe the personal copy of the genius Rabbi Yaakov David Wilovsky (Hridba”z), towards the end of his life sold to his son in law Rabbi Yoseph Kunvitz as testified by writings in the opening pages of the sefer. Throughout the sefer, (book) there are a few handwritten transcriptions.

Rabbi Yaakov David Wilovsky, (Hridba”z) (1845-1913) was a famous scholar and author of Seforim in Halacha and commentaries. He served as Rabbi of Slutzk, and Sefat.
Rabbi Yoseph Kunvitz, (1878-1944) Son in law of the Ridba”z Was Rabbi of several cities in Lita, and in the United States, President of Agudas Harabanim of the United States and Canada,.
