Historical information; in the year 1914 the leaders of Kollel Munkatch purchased property in Jerusalem from Rabbi Mendel Rand. In the contract summarized that Rabbi Mendel Rand will receive each month from the administration of the Kollel a total of 1000 Frank until the full amount of the sale is completed. In the interim Rabbi Mendel Rand passed away and the administration of the Kollel did not continue to pay off the debt to his inheritors. The Inheritors informed them that if the debt is not paid up the sale will be annulled and the property will be returned to them the inheritors. The administrators of the Kollel claimed that the property was purchased along with other methods, besides with money, therefore according to the Halacha the sale cannot be voided.
