Divrei Torah on “Parshat Veyetze” which was said by the Grand Rabbi the “Bais Yisroel” of Gur , intergrated with stories heard firsthand of great sages.

4 pages, 20x15cm hand written.
In the beginning of his Dvar Torah The Rabbi quoted in the name of the Chasam Sofer, and so he said; “The Chasam Sofer had a golden tongue”, later he brings a story on the Great Rabbi Shlomo Leib of Lentchana. Along all the pages the Rabbi mentions often his holy grandfathers of the Gur dynasty, the Rabbis, “Sefas Emes, and the “Chidushai Harim”.
Rabbi Yisroel Alter, 1894-1977, was the 5th Grand Rabbi of Gur dynasty, was called in the name of his Sefer the “Beis Yisroel”. In the year 1948 after the passing of his father he was elected as Grand Rabbi, he gathered together Chasidai Gur living in Israel from before the World War and those that were rescued from the Holocaust. He also served as chairman of Moetzes Gedolai Hatorah.
