The Megillah was used by Hrh”k Rebbi Yehudel’e of Dzikov son of Rabbi Alter Yechezkel of Dzikov and grandson of Rabbi Yehoshua of Dzikov.Son –in –law of Hrh”k the Imrei Chaim of Viznitz and grandson of Hrh”k the Ahavat Yisrael of Viznitz.
In the year 1970 befor the Holiday of Purim, it was brought to the scribe personaly R’ Yisrael Chaim Hass as told in detail in other item no…..
While giving over the Megillah Rabbi Yehudel’e said ‘This is my Megillah, which is very special, it served me until it became disqualified this year.
Rebbi Yehudel’e Horovitz of Dzikov, know by the nickname R’ Yidel’e Dzikover , [18th day of Elul 1905 – 11th day of Sivon 1989] was from the revered righteous of the preveous generation.
Born to his father Rabbi Alter Yechezkel Aliyahu Horovitz of Dzikov, son and prodessor of Rabbi Yehoshuah of Dzikov. His mother Chava was the daughter o the Ahavat Yisrael of Viznitz.
Learned by Rabbi Meir Arik in Tarnow. At the age of 20 received Horeah from Rabbi Avraham Mendl Steinberg, Rav of Brodi. He stayed in Oradea at the home of his grandfather HAdmo”r of Viznitz and was his dear Chassid.
He married to Miriam, daughter of his uncle the Admo”r Rabbi Chaim Meir Hager of Viznitz.
Dispite many pleas he rebutted to set up a Chassidic court, he lived in Jerusalem and served as R”m and inspirer in the Yeshivat Beit Yosef Tzvi of Rabbi Yosef Tzvi Dushinski. He conducted himself with much deprivation and separation, and it is told about him that he was accustomed to cry and say Pirkei Tehillim before each meal, feari ng of becoming megushem through eating.
With the years many Chassidim gathered around him, to hear from him Divrei Torah. In the year 1985 he moved to live in London. Their many Chassidim gathered around him and he started to lead as their Rabbi.
