The holy Retzuot from the Tefilin of Rabainu Tam, the Rabbi the Yeshuos Moshe of Viznitz [1916-2012] layed them and prayed with them until the month of Elul 1991.
General condition very good.probably kosher for further use.
The retzuot was received by the personal scribe sta”m Rabbi Yisrael Chaim Hass, after he changed the retzuot of his tefilin and checked the Parshiot. These retzuot have been in use at least a year before they were changed, he prayed with them fervently and passionately, his glorious prayers where known to all.
The retzuot are very black on both sidesm, as mentioned in the writings of the Ariz”l (Inyan Tefilin Drush 4) and according to how the Yeshuos Moshe conducted himself.
Rabbi Moshe Yehoshua of Viznitz (1916-2012) from the great and righteous of the generation, leader of the Moetzet Gedolai HaTorah, and leader of the last generation,son of the Imrei Chaim and grandson of the Ahavat Yisrael of Viznitz by whom he grew up.
Befor the Holocaust he served as Ab”d of Vilchovitz and stood at the head of his Yeshiva in Oradeo. After the holocaust, he was appointed by his uncle the Damesek Eliezer as Rosh Yeshiva of Viznitz in Tel Aviv. He stood at the right side of his father the Imrei Chaim’s when setting up the Viznitz neighborhood and erecting the beautifull Chassidut, as he served as ab”d of the neighborhood.
After his fathers passing he continued in his ways and was on of the great heads and righteous leaders of the generation. Was known for his holy avodah, protection of his pure eyes, his devotion in Torah and holiness. He was an inspiration to all of his generation.
