The holy retzuot of tefilin d’Rash”i, of which Rabbi Mordechei of Viznitz – Monsey (1922-2018) layed and prayed with until the month of Adar 2001.

General condition very good. probably kosher and worthy of continuing to be used.

The retzuot was received by the personal scribe R’ Yisrael Chaim Hass, after he changed the retzuot tefilin and checked the Parshiot. These Retzuot where worn by the Rabbi many years before they were changed, he prayed with them fervently and passionately, his outstanding prayers where known to all.

The retzuot are very black on both sides, as mentioned in the writings of the Ariz”l (Inyan Tefilin Drush 4) and this is how the Rabbi conducted himself after receiving the new retzuot from R’ Yisrael Chaim Hass.
