“Why shouldn’t a Jew send his son and daughter to the free schools??” screams the announcement. [the announcement not to send sons and daughters to free schools.]

Rare and authentic announcement about the days of  struggle of the Jewish Orthodox in Jerusalem in the schools that the Zionist established. The fighting started in the year 1885 at the time that the first school was established and lasted for several years and the public boycotted and ejected, petitioned and rallied prayers.

In the historical announcement many explanations and reasons to clarify and convince, to urge and protest to the parents of the children, about sending their children to secular schools. Between the reasoning: [in Hebrew] because Hashem gave these children to the parents, by sending them to secular schools they forfeit their role. Because the souls cry to the parents ‘you are theives’. Because you teach them Bulshevism, and more variety of reasons. ‘Yehudah V’Yerushaleyim printing across Batei Horenstein.’
