Sefer HaZohar on Chumash Shemot (Exodus). Personal copy from Hrh”k Rabbi Yesocher Ber Liefer. it was later inherited by his son the Admo”r Rabbi Chaim Mordechai Arye Liefer of Ungvar.

280 pages, 22cm.

Stamped: “ישכר בער לייפער אונגוואר יע”א”, חיים מרדכי ארי לייפער בהה”צ ישכר בער שליט”א מאונגוואר”, on the second side of the cover page: “הספר הזה קבלתי במתנה מידידי הר’ חיים ישעי’ בערמער נ”י מפה בן ה”ר ישכר דב בערמער ע”ה”. And many more listings.

The last page is slightly torn. General condition is good – very good.

Hrh”k Rabbi Yesocher Ber Liefer (1858-1926) son of Hrh”k Rabbi Yosef of Borșa who was the son of Hrh”k Rabbi Yesocher Ber (R’ Bertcha) of Nadvorna. He settled in Ungvar which was a city of Misnagdim (opponents) and served there as Admo”r. He successfully collected many Chassidim from amongst the Misnagdim. He was the son-in-law of Rabbi Yaakov Tzvi Wold ab”d of Borșa. He fasted most of his days.

Admo”r Rabbi Chaim Mordechai Arye Liefer hy”d. son of Rabbi Yesocher Ber Liefer. Served as Admo”r in Ungvar after the passing of his father in the year 1926. Was killed during the Second World War.
