Letter of Semicha to Hagaon Rabbi Aaron Milevsky – who later was Rav in Montevideo, by Rabbi Isser Zalmen Meltzer. Jerusalem, 2nd day on Nison 1929.
The Semicha was given during the time that Rabbi Aharon Milevsky learned in Yeshivat Chevron. The letter is full of praise and wonderful admiration, "והעיר אשר תבחרהו ותשמהו לראשה נחת תנחת ממנו כי תחסה תחת דגלו".

Rabb iIsser Zalmen Meltzer [1870-1953] was Rav in Slutzk and later Rosh Yeshiva of Eitz Chaim in Jerusalem. From the Chareidi Juadism leaders in his days.
Rabbi Aharon Milevsky [1904-1986] Rav of Montevideo in the city of Uruguay. He was active a lot for Yeshivat Mir that was in Shanghai during the time of the WWII.
It is interesting to note that this letter was written several months before the Massacre in Chevron where most of the victims were the students of the Yeshiva.
