Rare and unique long letter spread over 3 pages, of Divrei Torah never printed! hand written by the Holy Gaon Rabbi Yitzchok Yaakov Robinovitz ab"d Ponevezh known admiringly as Rabbi Itzel’a Ponevezh’er, to the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Dov Rappaport ab"d Robinshok, Žeimelis and later in Kefar Saba.
The letter is apparently answer about the subject of ‘שומר שמסר לשומר’
Starting the letter about existing matters with the following lines:
‘אתפלא על ידידי אשר לא הודיע מאומה אם כבר פדה את הגורלות ובשביל כן נדחתה זמן ההגרלה לעת בלתי מוגבלת עד אשר יקובל הכסף מכל המקומות’.
Afterwards the Gaon continues with Chidushei Torah on the subject,
‘שומר שמסר לשומר’
Discoursing with the words of Rishonim and Achronim, and negotiating with Poskim and Shilchon Aruch. In the margins of the text he signs:
‘ידידו הנאמן יצחק יעקב בהרש"ל ראבינאוויץ’,
After his signatures he adds:
‘הנני לתת לו את תודתי על אשר הצליח להוציא משפט לאור – בעיר ואבאלניק, הנ"ל ב’ במדבר תרס"ו פאניוועז’.
