Long hand written and signed letter, by the Gaon Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Volk to his father-in-law the Gaon Rabbi Mordechai Gimpel Jaffe ab"d Ruzhany. Pinsk 1883.
The letter is all hand written by the Gaon Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Volk son-in-law of the Gaon Rabbi Mordechai Gimpel Jaffe ab"d Ruzhany, from the great Rabbanim in Lithuania, mostly dealt with timely matters, hinting various difficulties of that period, disputes in the renowned communities of Lithuania, Minsk, Mir, Pinsk and more. Also mentioned some personal issues and other existing matters.
Between his words he mentioned the famous activist Rabbi Yaakov Lipshitz of Kovno assistant and right hand of Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan Spector. "שארי מוהר"י לפשיץ מקאוונא… ומאחיו צ"ה מווארשא".

Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch HaKohen Valk [1856-1906] Rav of Pinsk and author of ‘Keter Kehuna’ from the great scholars of his generation. Learned by the ‘Beit HaLevi’ in Slutzk. Son-in-law of the famous Gaon Rabbi Mordechai Gimpel Jaffe Rav of Ruzhany.
