Sefer ‘Turei Even’ on tractate Rosh HaShana, Chagiga, and Megila by the ‘Sha’agat Arye’ Rabbi Arye Leib ab"d of Metz, with ‘Kuntress Acharon’ (last pamphlet), and first copy of editing ‘Imrei Baruch’ by the ‘Baruch Ta’am’ Rabbi Baruch Te’umim, father-in-law of the ‘Divrei Chaim’ of Sanz. Vienna, 1875.

Signatures and stamps of many ownership, among them the signature and stamp of the Admo"r Hrh"k of Bardjov Rabbi Yechiel Nathan Halberstam, grandson of the Holy Divrei Chaim of Sanz and of the Holy Yitav Lev of Siget.

[1], 46, 35, 37, 24 pages, 36cm. On cover-page and back flyleaf is the stamp of ‘Yechiel Nathan Halberstam’, from the period that he was rav in Sanz HaYashan and from the period he was ab"d in Bardejov and its environs, with his Latin handwritten signature. On the front flyleaf are ownership signatures mostly from Halberstam family members, and amongst them ‘Yechiel Nathan Halberstam’, ‘Moshe Aharon Halberstam’, who was the son of the Hrh"k of Bardejov who served as Dayan in Stropkov under the shadow of his father-in-law Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Stropkov, ‘Ben Zion Halberstam’ who was the son of Rabbi Moshe Aharon. Listed on the second side of the page indication that this sefer was owned by the ‘Sar HaTorah Moron Yechiel Nattan Halberstam’.

Hrh"k Rabbi Yechiel Nathan Halberstam of Bardejov (1865-1933). Son of Hrh"k Rabbi Moshe of Bardejov eldest son of Hrh"k of Gorlitz, and so grandson of the Holy ‘Divrei Chaim’ of Sanz and grandson of the Yitav Lev of Siget. Rabbi Yechiel Natan was the son-in-law of the Hrh"k Rabbi Arye Leibish of Dulka. He served as Rav in Sanz HaYashan, and after teh passing of his father he filled his place as ab"d and Admo"r in the city of Bardejov, Thousands of Gorlitz Chassidim flocked towards his courtyard. Also his brother-in-law Rabbi Chuna Halberstam of Koloshitz, expresses his praise and send many to him for salvation. He passes away the 7th day of Nisson 1933, Bardejov.
