Original invitation from the Hrh"k Imre Emes of Gur upon the wedding of his youngest son who later succeeded him as Admo"r Rabbi Pinchas Menachem Alter of Gur with his esteemed Rebbetzin Mrs Tzipora. Jerusalem Tamuz 1946.
בשנת ‘ה’ גאל עמו ישראל’ לפ"ק –
The Moron Imre Emes married off his youngest son who later was Rosh Yeshiva of Sefat Emes, and member of Moetzet Gedolai HaTorah and eventualy the Rabbi the Pnei Menachem of Gur, with the grandchild of his brother Hrh"k Rabbi Moshe Betzalel Alter.
This great simcha, the wedding of the youngest son of the elderly Rabbi, Rabbi of all diaspora who lost tens of thousands of his chassidim in the terrible war, sparked great joy and hope among the left over refugees, who escaped the Holocaust.
This original invitation, is a historical document about the beginning of the rebuilding of the holy courtyard of Gur immediately after WWII.
