Also please excuse and ask from the Dayanim and scholars of your community to also be among the group who are permitting and they too shall sign their names."
The letter was printed by Rabbi Yosef requesting from Rabbanim and Dayanim to sign to permit the marriage to a second wife for a man who soon after his marriage it turned out that his wife went out of her mind and was admitted to the hospital. Strasbourg, 1911.
