Ancient splendor! Holy sefer ‘Agra DeKala’ authored by the holy Rabbi Tzvi Elimelech of Dinuv, first edition, Lemberg 1868. From the library of the Beit HaMedrash D’Chassidei Viznitz in Safed. (Seems to be from the beginning of the previous century or the end of the end of the 19th century. )

Appearing on the cover page are two stamps of the Beit HaMedrash, one: ‘חותם ביהמ"ד של אדמו"ר הקדוש שליט"א מוויזנצא בעיה"ק צפת"ו’. Second: ‘הקלויז דקהל חסידים אדמו"ר קדוש ישראל שליט"א מוויזניצא בעיה"ק צפת"ו’.
Beit HaMedrash D’Chassidei Viznitz in the Holy city of Safed, was established by the Chassidim of Hrh"k the ‘Tzemach Tzadik’ about 1920’s. Viznitz Chassidic community was from the first Chassidic communities in Safed. Ther where many disputes with this community, mostly from Kosov Chassidim in the upper Galil. Over the years the Viznitz Chassidic community in the Old City of Safed has been depleted,  then the building was given over the Tunisian community which established around Rabbi Yehoshua (Pargi) Pitusi. Today this Beit HaKnesset is called by the unique name: "Viznitz – Tunis".
