Two volumes.
The Righteous Gaon Rabbi Elchanan Halperin (Rabbi Chuna Halperin) [1921-2015], was Rav in Golders Green neighborhood of London and leader of the ‘Hisachdut Kehilat HaChareidim". He was called ‘Radamishla Rav’ named after the city that his grandfather in and his revered Rabbi the Holy Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Engel was Ab"d of Radomyshl.
He learned by his grandfather Rabbi Shmuel Engel, and by Rabbi Yisrael Shmuel Klein (son-in-law of Rabbi Shimon Sofer). At the age of 14 he wrote a letter to The Gaon of Rogatchov Rabbi Yosef Rozin, and in the answering letter the Rogatchover referred to him "HaRav HaGaon".
He was close with the Righteous Gaon Rabbi Shalom Moskovitz of Shatz. After the War he became close with the Gaon of Tchebin (Trzebinia), and accepted him as his revered Rabbi. He was acquainted with many Admo"rim. In his youth he traveled to the courtyards of Rabbi Chuna Halberstam of Kolatchitz (Kołaczyce), and to Rabbi Avraham Shalom Halberstam of Stropkov who lived in Kashau (Košice). After the War he traveled to the courtyards of many Admo"rim especially to the Holy Rabbi of Klausenburg and the Holy Rabbi Itzike’l of Pshevorsk.
He merited to marry his children with great and famous righteous of the generation. Among his son-in-laws are the Admo"r of Nadvorna-Haifa, Rabbi Shimon Lemberger of Makova (Kiryat Ata), Admo" of Chernobyl – Bnei Berak, and Rabbi Yosef Moshe Schneersohn Rosh Yeshiva of Tchebin. His sons are also Mechutanim with great righteous of the generation. His son Rabbi Leibish who is Rav in the Ramot neighborhood, is Mechutan with the Admo"rim of Sanz and Chernobyl.
