Hand written lecture of ‘Shabbat Shuva’ 1862, by the Gaon Hatzadik Rabbi Yehushua Yosef HaKohen fayinberg, ab"d of Mard. All with his holy hand writing.
7 pages [written on both sides], 20 cm. Bluish paper, pages are separate not bound together. Dense lettering, very neat and beautiful with additions on the sides of the sheet.
Hgh"z Rabbi Yehoshua Yosef HaKohen [fayinberg], ab"d of Mard, was from the great Chassidei Izbica – Radzyń, Chassid of the "Mei Hashiloach" and the "Beit Yaakov". His sefer "Ezrat Kohanim" was published in the years 1873-1877. The sefer came out with endorsements from the Admo"r Rabbi Yaakov of Izbica, the Admo"r Rabbi Tzadok HaKohen of Lublin, Rabbi Yosef DovBer HaLevi [Soloveitchik] and more great Rabbanim who spoke greatly in praise of the author: "המאה"ג החריף החסיד… מאנשי ידידינו", "המופלא ותיק ותמים", "מפורסם לשם ולשבח", "חריף ובקי וחסיד מפורסם", "הרב החריף המחבר המופלג וכו. Rabbi Yehoshua Yosef left after him hand written manuscripts among them several sermons from the years 1860-1862.
