The great Gaon the ‘Yalkut Eliezer’ Rabbi Eliezer Zussman-Soffer of Paksh, Was from the great sages of his generation and from the prominent disciples of the Kesav Sofer. had his Brit Milah on the laps of the Chasam Sofer, as noted in his pamphlet on Milah. He learned a short while from Moron Chasam Sofer and basked in his shadow during his childhood, but he especially learned much Torah from his son Moron the holy Kesav Sofer and from the holy Maharam Shick.
