Letter about saving lives by Hgh"k Rabbi Asher Anshil Katz of Serdeheli, with many holy blessings. The letter about saving lives during the WWII, to save the life of his father-in-law Rabbi Yechiel David Zeltzer and his family who later perished in the horrific Holocaust.
The letter is signed with unique and holy blessing:

Hgh"k Rabbi Asher Anshil Kat"z of Serdeheli [1880-1934]. Was from the great Rabbanim of Hungary before the Holocaust, Rosh Yeshiva for thousands, Rav in the holy community of Nyírmada, and later Rav of ‘Adat Yisrael’ in Dunajská Streda which is Serdeheli (Dunaszerdahely).
From revered disciples of Hgh"k Rabbi Moshe Greenwald of Chust (the ‘Arugat Habosem’), then he married the daughter of Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich, the Shimloyer Rav, there in Shimlo (Șimleu Silvaniei) he became Dayan and Rosh Yeshiva.
Hundreds of youths learned in the Yeshiva he established later in Serdeheli which was from the greatest and most prominent in Hungary.
His grandchildren that survived the Holocaust, are the Great Rabbanim Vien’er Rav in Wiliamsburg and the Serdehely Rav in Brooklyn, New York.
