[1] Letterhead page, 22×30 cm. Unknown writer, few words and signature holy hand written by the ‘Keren LeDavid’. 

The Holy Gaon Rabbi Eliezer David Greenwald the ‘Keren LeDavid’ (1867-1928), Rav and Rosh Yeshiva in Satmar. He was born in Cherna, Hungary, to his father Rabbi Amram Greenwald, son of Rabbi Yosef Greenwald, Av Beit Din of Chechowitz.
Learned by his brother the ‘Arugat HaBosem’ and was considered his revered disciple. For a short time he also learned by the holy Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Ehrenfeld the ‘Chasan Sofer’. He was Rav in Tzehlim (today Deutschkreutz in Austria), Oiber-Vishova (Upper Vishova) and Satmar. He was from the famous great righteous of the generation, his Yeshiva in Satmar was the largest in surrounding area. Many great sages and scholars in Hungary and Austria were his disciples.

Fold marks, light stain on bottom margin. Light tear at the side with no text missing. Name and city of the receiver is purposely made illegible. Very good – good condition.
