Small and rare sefer, ‘Sifsei Kedoshim’, in which fascinating stories of the four pillars of the world great righteous and honorable and virtuous, the Holy Rabbi Leib Sarah’s, R’ Leib fondly called the Shpoler Zeide (the Holy grandfather of Shpole), and the Holy Rabbi Yisrael Paletsḳer, and an inside page from his disciple-companion Rabbi Ezriel ztvk"l.

Bound together with ‘Sharei Yerushalayim’ Warsaw edition 1876. Stories of Rabbi Moshe Reisher including 12 entries of praise for Jerusalem and Eretz Yisrael. The sefer is amongst the only sources describing Israel in the beginning of the 19th century from a Jewish point of view.
14cm. pages a little crumbly. [60] pages.
The cover page of the sefer ‘Shaarei Yerushalayim’ is missing.  


In the rare sefer ‘Sifsei Kedoshim’, [23] pages. Page 23 is torn and part of the top, and the last page is missing. [It should be noted, in the Chaba"d library only 17 pages appear and the rest is missing]. General condition is good.
The Rabbi of Lubavitch explains since there is a great deal of imagination between the Shpoler Zeide and Rabbi Arye Leib Sarah’s (both with the same name, disciples of the Baal Shem Tov, and mysterious and miraculous figures), It seems to be the same person, until it is proven otherwise from a trusted source, as finding two different graves. Many disputed this and two graves have actually been found. There are those that claim that though they were different people they are relatives.
