Sefer Yechezkel from Tanach, Warsaw edition, 1878.
Personal copy of the holy Rabbi Mordechai Zusia Twerski of Trisk Hotselis Iasi.
T
his holy copy, arrived to him as a holy inheritance from his grandfather the Great Maggid of Trisk, as is indicated signed on the sefer: ‘הר’ מז" ט’. As is known with the passing of the holy Maggid of Chernobyl the Gabbayim divided the inheritance among the holy sons. On each sefer they wrote for which of the sons the inheritance is indicated (Likewise we find many sefarim written on them ‘R’ Moshe ben HaRav’ meaning the holy Rabbi of Korstchuv.)
And so, later after the passing of his sons, it is known that this is exactly how they indicated and marked the sefarim by the name of the inheritor in initial lettering.
Written in this copy is ”הר’ מז" ט’ meant for his first grandson, the holy R’ Mordechai Zishe (of Trisk Hotselis Iasi) who inherited together with his holy uncle in place of his father the holy Rabbi Menachem Nachum as said who passed away during the life of his father.
Many personal stamps from the holy Rabbi Mordechai Zusia of Trisk Hotselis Iasi.
The holy Rabbi Mordechai Zusia Twerski of Trisk, grandson of the holy Maggid Rabbi Avraham of Trisk, firstborn son of the holy Rabbi Menachem Nachum of Trisk-Brisk, who was meant to continue the ways of his father the Holy Maggid, but sadly passed away during his holy fathers life. Was the son-in-law of the holy Rabbi Yitzchak of Bohush (Buhuși) grandson of the holy Rabbi of Ruzhin.
After the passing of his holy grandfather the Maggid of Trisk, the many Chassidim requested him to come to Trisk to continue to lead the holy courtyard, but with his great modesty he refused.
