Postcard hand written and signed by the holy Rabbi Yaakov Yehoshua Heschel son of the holy Rabbi Shlomo Chaim Perlov of Bolechow (Bolekhiv), to the family of his brother-in-law the holy Rabbi Moshe David Shapiro, later the Admor of Gvoditz-Sadigura in Boro Park. On the margin of the postcard the Rebbetzen Malka perlov added a few lines to her family. Alyka 1936. Hebrew and Yiddish.
An official letter head postcard from Rabbi Alter Yosef David Landau of Olyka, details are printed in Hebrew and Polish. 


Rabbi Alter Yosef David son of the holy Rabbi Shimon Shlomo Landau, Admor of Alyka from 1897. Son-in-law of the holy Rabbi Chaim Hager the Admor of Otynia, and from his second marriage son-in-law of the Admor of Slonim Rabbi Shmual Weinberg. Perished in the Holocaust in the 29th of Av 1942.

Rabbi Yaakov Yehoshua Heschel Perlov son of the Admor Rabbi Shlomo Chaim Perlov of Bolechow hy"d may his blood be avenged, passed away in the prime of his life, on 13th day of Elul 1937. Was mentioned in his father’s Siddur ‘Kehilat Shlomo’ as one of the editors.

Rabbi David Moshe Shapiro Admor of Gvoditz-Sadigura of Boro Park, in his first marriage married the eldest daughter of Rabbi Shlomo Chaim Perlov of Bolechow. Their son, Rabbi Yitzchak Mordechai Shapiro, was the only grandson of the Admor of Bolechow who left alive after the Holocaust.
The postage stamp of the postcard was ripped off, fold marks, tiny tears along the fold, stained. Fair to good condition.
