Sefer ‘Ohr HaGanuz’ and ‘Zot LaYehuda’ two volumes, annotations on Torah. By the holy Rabbi Yehuda Leib Hakohen of Hanipol, from the great disciples of the Maggid of Mezritch, one of the two great righteous whom the Baal HaTanya requested their consent on his holy sefer.
First edition, Lemberg 1862.
Part 1: ‘Ohr HaGanuz’, on Torah, annotations, and sermons. Part 2: ‘Vezot LaYehuda’, annotations on Mishnayot by way of ‘remez and sode’, explains Mishnayot and Breisot by concealed way.
The sefer is a segula and protection as is written by great righteous of the generation in their endorsements:
On the first part, appears the one and only endorsement from the holy Tzemach Tzedek of Lubavitch in which he writes: ‘כי קדש הם ואינם צריכים להסכמות ואף שאין דרכי מעולם בכך ליתן הסכמה להדפסה עם כל זאת באתי בחתימת ידי…
Along appears the special endorsements of the holy Chidushei Harim of Gur and from the holy Divrei Chaim of Sanz.
The second part is crowned with the lengthy endorsement of the holy Maggid of Chernobyl, who writes in wonderful dialect: :
‘ויקנה כל אחד לעצמו הספר הקדוש הזה לזכות ולשמירה מעולה לו ולזרעו לדורותם
So are the endorsements of the righteous sons who greatly expand on the merits and significance of this sefer and of the incredible protection given to anyone who buys it and keeps it in his house.
