Appearing on this printing are pre-subscribers important Rabbanim and righteous activists and Chassidim from around Hungary and Galicia.
The holy ‘Keren LeDavid’ the Gaon Rabbi Eliezar David Greenwald [1867-1929], Rabbi of Satmar, from great and famous of the generation, Rav and Rosh Yeshiva of the largest Yeshivah in the surrounding province. Many of great sages of Hungary and Austria were his passionate disciples. Learned Torah by his holy brother the ‘Arugat HaBosem’ and was considered his revered disciple. For a short while he also learned by the holy Gaon the ‘Chasan Sofer’. Was Rav of communities of Tzelim (today Deutschkreutz in Austria), Oiber-Vishova (Upper Vishova) and Satmar.
