Rabbi Yisrael Chaim hy"d, firstborn son of the ‘Chakal Yitzchak’ of Spinka, Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik hy"d ben Rabbi Yosef Meir Weiss. Was son-in-law of Rabbi Elazar Rubin of Sassov from his first marriage, and son-in-law of Rabbi Avraham Yakir Rubinstein from his second marriage. Was killed sanctifying G-ds name on the 29th of Iyar 1944. His children served as Admorim in Spinka.
Rabbi Naftali Tzvi hy"d, Rav of the city of Bilka (in Maramureș), Romania, second son of the ‘Chakal Yitzchak’ hy"d, was killed sanctifying G-d’s name in the Holocaust.
The gaon Rabbi Moshe ben Rabbi Binyamin Stern, abd Polien-Riskeve, received Semicha for Hora’ah from the holy ‘Yetev Lev’. From 1890 was abd of Dragomiresti and later for more than thirty years abd in Polien-Riskeve. Passed away on the 4th day of Shevat 1923.His name appears in the ‘Sdei Chemed’: Pamphlet ‘Hametzitzah VeHamiluim’ no. 136, among the names of Rabbanim who joined their signatures to the call not to change from the custom of Metzitza B’Peh at a circumcision.
