Rabbi Yeshaya Steiner (1852-1925), of Kerestir (Bodrogkeresztúr) which is close to Miskolc, in Hungary. Was the assistant of his Rebbe Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Friedman of Liska, and from the disciples of the ‘Divrei Chaim’ of Sanz. Was renowned as a benefactor for his charity and wonder-works. His picture is famous as a segula for protection of mice.

Fold marks, stained. Good condition.
