Rabbi Shmuel ben R’ David Leib Shwemer (1877-1956) author of ‘Toraht HaNefesh’ 1933, sefer HaDrashot HaChadash on Torah 1940, ‘Beit Vaad LaChachamim’ (Iasi, 1909), and more Yiddish books. Also tens of pamphlets ‘Sichot Talmidei Chachamim’ (1951-1956), and edited the bi-weekly series of ‘Yiddishe Visenshaft’ for 20 years consecutively.
