Sefer HaZohar, On Bereishit. From the holy Tana Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai. Brody, 1873.

Personal copy of the gaon Rabbi Binyamin Mendelsohn abd of Komemiyut. Ownership appearing on the fly leaf page: "לד’ הארץ ומלואה בנימין מענדלזאהן". On the last page in a lengthy interesting writing about the birth of his son the gaon Rabbi Menachem Mendel (who was later Rav in Komemiyut and leader of ‘Keren HaSheviit’ – supporting shemitah farmers).

The Gaon Rabbi Binyamin Mendelsohn Av Beit Din of Kommemiyut, [1904-1979], Chassid of the holy ‘Imrei Emet’ of Gur, by the recommendation of his Rebbe he immigrated from Poland to Israel, there he served as Rav in Kefar Atta (Kiryat Ata) later he served as Rav in the Chassidic settlement Komemiyut. He was very active for Shemittah observance, for this purpose he traveled around a lot among agricultural settlements. He was greatly admired by the Chazon Ish and the holy Rebbe Rabbi Aharon of Belz.
