(In the city of Lespezi. On the night of the Holy Shabbat the 3rd day of Cheshvan, a fire erupted in their community and burned 83 homes along with everything, and also the ones that were saved from the fire were left in the city with nothing at all… Our enemies from the nearby villages gathered and looted anything they found that remained)
A holy calling from the Admor Rabbi Uri Landman arranging a fundraising in Iasi the capital city of Romania, to rescue 800 Jewish lives from Lespezi who were dreadful and tortured and left without anything in middle of the winter. The Admor notes that he is sending the letter and will not arrive to personally meet, since he is weak with no strength though this is a very important matter
