Long and thorough letter, 19 rows, from the Moron HaGaon Rosh HaYeshiva Rabbi Shamuel Aurbach, Rosh Yeshiva of ‘Maalot HaTorah’ and later leader of the ‘Bnei Torah’ movement. In which he expounds his view on the subject of pure education for Jewish girls, and the autonomous importance of the education and pedagogical of girls seminaries.
The letter was sent answering many questions about the opinions of the Rav Binyamin Szczeransky head of the seminary ‘Beit Yaakov (on the name of) HaRav Meir Szczeransky’ in Tel Aviv and founder and director of additional seminaries in Israel.
The letter is written, by the Gaon Rabbi Shamuel Aurbach, who was known to be a great fighter for G-ds sake, and his cries for keeping the purity of the Chareidi education in Israel, for the repeated interventions of the Ministry of Education about the subjects studied, their contents, and hours and more.
In this letter he is totally rejecting the decision of a third year of the girls seminaries: ‘וכבר גילו דעתם זקני ומאורי הדור שליט"א אשר חלילה וחלילה להוסיף על השנתים..אשר על הראשונים אנו מצטערים מה שהסכימו בדוחק ממש’…
