With stamp of Rabbi Yehoshua Falik Zev, in Hebrew and Romanian. With notations and markings partly handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Falik of Faltishan and some added later. From the notations, his great diligence in Torah can be greatly perceived, example: on the title page of Tractate Eiruvin he writes:
‘התחלתי המס’ עירובין היום יום ד’ ויקרא תרנ"ז’ (I began Tractate Eiruvin today Wednesday Parashat Vayikra 1897), on the title page of Tractate Pesachim he writes:
‘התחלתי מס’ פסחים היום יום ג’ נשא תרס"ד’ (I beganTractate Pesachim today, Tuesday Parashat Naso 1904).
Rabbi Yehoshua Falik Zev Wolfsohn Grand Rabbi of Faltishan (Fălticeni) community in Romania, born to his father Rabbi Yosef Tzvi in 1835 and passed away the 26th day of Elul 1915. Authored sefarim: ‘Nehorin DeOreisa’ (1873), ‘Anyiyah BeLev Yam’ (1880), ‘Mizkeret Moshe V’Yerushalayim’ (1884), Mayenei HaYeshuah’ (1887), ‘Pluot Chachmah’ (1889), ‘Melon Orchim’ (1896), ‘Toraht HaAdam’ (1904), . Receiving approbations on his sefarim from many great scholars of the generation.
