The Gaon Rabbi Meir Abeles (1806-1887) Cherished disciple of Moron the ‘Chatam Sofer’, Dayan and Rav of Kitza for about 40 years. Mentioned in Shut Chatam Sofer and Shut Ketav Sofer multiple times. Moron the Chatam Sofer expressed on him in a very extraordinary language: ‘כל דילדא אימה כוותיה תלד’ [Shut Yoreh Deah 225] .
