‘Biras Migdal Oz’, Morals, laws, and wonderful traditions revealed and hidden – third volume of the Siddur of the Holy Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Emdin – ‘Amudei Shamayim’. Printed in Bardichev 1836.
Siddur of the great Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Emdin – the ‘Yavetz’, accepted with much reverence among the Chassidic righteous, was also printed in Korets with the recommendations of the holy Ohev Yisrael of Apta and the holy Maggid of Chernobyl. The third part of the siddur was printed in Bardichev.
adorning the begining of the siddur is the approbation of the Holy Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin (dated 4th of Tevet 1835), which is the first of only five of his endorsements ever printed. Written in his approbation: על אדני פז יסודתו ומחצבתו להורות דרך הישר בשכל צח בענין התפילה. By many Chassidic Rebbe’s this siddur was not removed from their table, used for their warm and uplifting prayers.
Very important ownership listing: הרה"צ רבי אלתר המבורגר, and more important unique signatures from much previous times, likewise a few printing corrections.
