Tobacco case description: A gilded box decorated with delicate engravings, the lid is combined with gilded silver and a spectacular stone with an eagle figure on it.

The holy ‘Saraf’, Rabbi Chaim Meir Yechiel of Moglanitsa [1789 – 1849] was one of the greatest Tzaddiks and leaders of Jews in his generation. Grandson of the holy Maggid of Kaznitz. Was a student of the holy Rebbe Yaakov Yitzhak from Lublin, of the ‘Ohev Yisroel’ from Apta and of the ‘Yehudi-HaKadosh’ from Parshisha. Son-in-law of Rabbi Eliezer son of Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk. After his marriage, he was Adhere to Tzadikim from Rozin, Belza and Radushitz. He became famous for his righteousness and holiness, for his enthusiasm in the worship of G-d and for his immense prayer. His blessings and advice attracted many crowds to him in Maglenitsa.
Attached is the testimony of his descendent, Rabbi Yisrael Jungster, son-in-law of the ‘HaAdmor HaHalutz’ Rabbi Yeshaya Shapira, son of Rabbi Elimelech of Gradzisk, son of the ‘Saraf’ of Moglanitsa.
