Air-mail letter from the Admor of Chernobyl Rabbi Meshulam Zusia Twersky, upon the wedding of his daughter to the Admor of Viznitz shlita. Bnei-Brak. 1963.
In the letter, the Rabbi thanks the youths Chaim Tzvi Kishargsbewald and Arye Leibish Rubin (later, Admor of Cheshanov), for the money they sent him (sum of $32.) for the wedding of his daughter with the Chatan Harav Yisrael Hager (today the Admor of Viznitz – Bnei-Brak shlita). Blessing them with his warm blessings: "ובזכות אבותיי הקדושים זצוק"ל יעזור השי"ת… והתמדה בתוה"ק והצלחה בכ"ע…"
Admor of Chernobyl, Rabbi Meshulam Zusia Twersky (1910-1987). from great and illustrious Rabbi’s of Chassidut in Israel after the Holocaust. Born in Mazyr (a city in the Gomel Region of Belarus) to Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschel of Chudenov a descendant of the Holy Meor Einayim, and his mother Rechel Devoira daughter of the Holy Rabbi Yeshaya of Chekhov (the youngest son of the Holy Divrei Chaim of Sanz and son-in-law of the Rabbi of Belz).
In the year 1934 due to the persecution by the authorities he ascended to Israel and remained there for a few years, returning later to Europe and escaped again to Israel. In Israel he got married and set up a Beit Medrash in Bnei-Brak.
