Very rare! ‘Kol Nahei’, touching eulogy on the holy Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin, said by Rabbi Yosef Landau abd Iasi, First edition, Chernivtsi, 1851.
The Holy Gaon Rabbi Yosef Landau (1791-1854), from great Chassidic leaders in Romania in his generation, served as abd in the Jewish city of Iasi. Author of ‘Birkat Yosef’. Rabbi Yosef served as Admor and was disciple of the Holy Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Barditchev, the Holy Rabbi Boruch of Medzhybizh, the Holy Rabbi of Apta, the Holy Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin, on whom he writes this stirring and heartrending eulogy.
This pamphlet was published (by the son of the author, Rabbi Mattityahu Landau) in 1851, the year the author passed away.
