Sefer Tehilim from the Holy Rabbi Yisrael of Husyatin eldest righteous of his generation, stamped with his personal stamp. Sefer ‘Romemot El’ commentary on Tehilim by the holy Rabbi Moshe Alshich. Jeßnitz (Yesnitz) 1721.
On title page is the holy stamp: ‘אוצר הספרים של ישראל פריעדמאן מהוסיאטין’.
On page 30 ownership stamp of the renowned gaon Rabbi Aryeh Leib Berlin from Fürth, who’s editing on Shas is printed in the Shas Vilna edition.
The Ga’on Rabbi Aryeh Leib Berlin from Fürth (1737-1814), learned by his father, and later went to learn in Halberstat by Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh Charif. In the years 1773-1778 he was from the leaders in Fürth, in 1790 was appointed as Rav in Bamberg. In 1794 was appointed as Rav in Kassel and Hessen. Part of his glosses on the tractates of Shas were printed in the Fürth Shas and then in Vilna Shas Edition.
The holy Rabbi of Husyatin, was very admired by the holy Rabbi Aharon of Belz and all righteous of the generation. He was especially known for fighting the evil spirit during WWII. Was very famous for his heartfelt and holy prayers at the time that he Nazi General Rommel approached Israel at the battles of El Alamein, May their name be obliterated.
