important collection of documents, some of the activities of the Moron ‘Knesset Mordechai’ of Sadigura, as part of his activities within the World General Council of Agudat Yisrael, during the fateful days before the establishment of the State of Israel, in the midst of the war which erupted in the month of Kisleiv 1948 (29th of November) after the declaration of the United Nations about dividing Israel.
In these documents, the Rabbi invites the members of the World Executive Committee, who live in the center of the country, specifically in Tel Aviv, to discuss the critical issues on the agenda, as he notes it is upon the World Executive Committee and its members to determine their position on the fundamental questions on the agenda.
The image of this Jewish leader is apparent from these documents, he worried for and was very concerned and dealt with the current spiritual issues, momentous hashkafa questions. It is noticeable from the documents the importance of the World Executive Committee of the Agudat Yisrael in this momentous era, its honor and value. The Rabbi, who besides being from very young a member of the Moetzet Gedolai HaTorah, was also an accepted member of World Executive Committee which was at that time a temporary Orthodox government and was the center on which and from where all the questions of Orthodox Judaism all over the world.
His blessed activities appear within the framework of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel and the establishment of a Jewish constitution for Israel.

* Very important letter dated 26th of Shevat 1948. The Rabbi the Knesset Mordechai brings his opinion and that of his uncle the Avir Yaakov, how to refer to the questions about the founding of a Jewish country and join the Orthodox Jews in the framework of the country currently founding, for the mobilization of the corps, for the status committee, for other government frameworks. The Rabbi notes his opinion that such a thing needs the approval of the Vaad Hapoal. The letter was sent to the activist Rabbi Leibel Abramovitz from Rishon Letzion.
