Copy from the origin of the Mussar movement! Personal copy of the righteous gaon Rabbi Yosef Zundel of Salant, who provided the spiritual inspiration for his most famous student, Rabbi Yisrael Salanter, the founder of the Mussar movement. Sefer Akeidat Yitzchak by Rabbi Yitzchak ben Moshe Arama. Frankfurt (Oder), 1785. With many personal signatures of Rabbi Zundel.
On the flyleaf page is long list of Sefarim as it seems to be the handwriting of Rabbi Zundel of Salant. Also on the title page are short lines not encrypted with his handwriting.
74, 159, 20 pages, 34 cm. Professional rehabilitation on front page and many of the last pages. Missing 2 pages in the middle. Worn edges. Not original cover. Very good condition.
