Postcard from the holy Rabbi Shalom Leifer Admor of Nadvorna – Brighton Beach, 1956.
In the postcard the Admor Rabbi Shalom invites his close one to the Bris of his grandson son of his daughter Mrs. Yentele, wife of his son-in-law Rabbi Yisrael Chaim Leifer.
The Holy Admor Rabbi Shalom Leifer of Admor Nadvorna from Brighton Beach, youngest son of Rabbi Yissachar Dov Ber (Bertche) of Nadvorna-Satmar, and son-in-law of Rabbi Dov Teumim Frankel, dayan of Pshevorsk. Together with his brother Rabbi Yosef Admor of Pittsburgh he went to live in America before the Holocaust erupted in Europe. After the terrible Holocaust they were an inspiration of Torah and Chassidut for the survivors who saw in them the last remains of the glorious courtyard from the past. He was renowned for his holiness and purity. Passed away in 1980.
