Hand written letter of Rabbi Shlomo Zalmen Klein Rav of Gavà and its environs, to  Rabbi Pinchas Leibish Weber Rav in Jerusalem, about shidduchim, giving assistance, sending Torah innovations of the Rav of Sulish, request to pray at Holy Sights in Israel, for the well-being and shidduch of his daughter, and more. Gava Nissan 1912. Hungary.
 

[2] pages, 22 cm. All hand written and signed by Rabbi Shlomo Zalmen Klein. Towards the end of the letter refers to the The Italo-Turkish (or Turco-Italian War, also known in Italy as Guerra di Libia was fought between the Kingdom of Italy and the Ottoman Empire from September 29, 1911, to October 18, 1912),  
questioning if there are signs revealing the eternal salvation which is common during war times.

"יהא רעוא שהזיווג יעלה יפה עם כל המפורשים אפילו עם הפני יהושיע, כך היה רגיל לומר זקני הקדוש בעל צרור החיים זלל"ה… גם נתתי תודה להאי גברא יקירא שכתב לי דברים אחדים מזקני מסוליש זצ"ל, ובקשתי לאסוף עוד ולשלחם לי".

Rabbi Pinchas Leibish Weber, disciple of the great Gaon Rabbi Chaim of Brisk, passed away around the year 1916 after caring and assisting sick patients with typhus, and so he became infected with the desease. His son Rabbi Moshe Weber, elderly Mashpia (inspirer) of Chabad in Israel, was Rosh Yeshiva in ‘Chatam Sofer’ and ‘Ohel Moshe’. His son Rabbi Zalmen Weber, Was Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivat Pressburg in Jerusalem. His son-in-law was Rav Amram Blau founder and leader of the fiercely Anti-Zionist ‘Neturei Kartal’.

Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Klein, disciple of the ‘Shevet Sofer’ of Pressburg. son of Rabbi Eliyahu Rav of Halmin. From the year 1899 served as Dayan in Zenta and from 1906 served ad Rav of Gava in Hungary. His children are great geonim Rabbi Shlomo Ulman Rav of Makave author of ‘Yeriot Shlomo’ and grandson of  Rabbi Shamuel Shmelka Klein of Selish (Nagyszőlős) author of ‘Tzeror HaChaim’, who is mentioned in this letter.
