The ‘jüdischer verlag’ publisher of books, was the first Jewish Zionist publishing in Western Europe, which was established in Berlin in 1902, about two years before the death of Dr. Theodor Herzl. Among the founders: Martin Buber, Chaim Weizmann, Ephraim Moses Lilien, Berthold Feiwel. At the Fifth World Zionist Congress it was declared the establishment of this publishing, for the purpose to promote and revive the culture and art of the Jewish Nation.
