Short letter handwritten by the Admor Author of ‘Emunat Moshe’ of Alexander Rabbi Yehuda Moshe Danziger, Bnei Brak, 1950s -1960s.
In the letter which is addressed to Rabbi Zvi Pinchas HaKohen Moshkovitz, the author of ‘Emunat Moshe’ writes mysteriously about a certain promise from the past: "With G-d’s help, I hope that the promise I made him many years ago will be kept".
The Holy Rabbi Yehuda Moshe Danziger of Alexander (1892-1973) continued to link of the Holy Alexander dynasty. Restoring the holy courtyard after the terrible destruction of the Holocaust. In his youth he studied with the Dayan Rabbi Avraham Eliezer Rotenberg of Lodz. At the age of 13, he was rabbinically ordained. Married the daughter of Rabbi Betzalel Yair Danziger son of Rabbi Yechiel of Alexander. Was a revered disciple of his uncle the Holy Rabbi the ‘Yismach Yisrael’ and later of the ‘Tiferet Shmuel’ of Alexander (who was his relative). He also studied Torah with the Holy Rabbi Yechiel of Ostrovitz. Rabbi Yehuda Moshe passed through many communities and eventually immigrated to the Holy Land and after a certain period of time of living in the Old City Jerusalem, settled in Bnei Brak. There the remnants of the Alexander Chassidim gathered around him and appointed him as their Rebbe.
