A lengthy, important letter by the Holy brothers of Rachmistrivka the Holy Rabbi Avraham Dov and the Holy Rabbi David of the sons of the Holy Rabbi Menachem Nachum, who together were the leaders of the community, with a unique and rare official blank ‘אברהם דוב ודוד בהה"ק מוה"ר מנחם נחום זצוקללה"ה מראחמיסטראווקא‘. Jerusale, , Elul 1944.

In the letter, they bless the establishment of the committee for family purity headed by the Gaon Rabbi Ephraim Zalman Heilperin, who established and founded Mikvehs all around Israel and bless the supporters and assistors: Great is his reward in this and to come!!


The Holy Rabbi Avraham Dov of Rachmistrivka [1865-1945] the son of the Holy Rabbi Menachem Nachum the son of the Holy Rabbi Yochanan of Rachmastrivka. A humble Tzaddik and miracle-worker. The residents of Jerusalem admired and appreciated him, consulting him mainly for mentioning the sick and changing names for cure and salvation.  Was the leader of the community together with;

His brother the Holy Rabbi David of Rachmastriva [1872-1951] who was also renowned for his modesty. He conducted himself like a layman with no indication of Admorut. Nevertheless, the Holy spirit appeared appeared in his Beis Midrash. His  son was the Holy Rabbi Yochanan of Rachmistrivka succeeded him continuing the holy dynasty.
