Letter appointing Rabbi Yeshuah Vaish as the head of the Sephardic community of Safed, signed by the rabbis amd leaders of the community, Safed, 1925.
In the letter, which is written on the official stationery of the general committee of the Sephardic community of Safed, the leaders of the community state that they have decided to appoint Rabbi Yeshuah Vaish as the head of the Sepahrdic community of Safed. The letter is signed by Rabbi Shimon Shabtai, Ezra Chaim hacohen, Rabbi Yehuda Antabi, Rabd of Safed Rabbi Yeshuah Palachi, and more.
Rabbi Yeshuah Vaish was one of the leading rabbis of Safed and also served as a Shadar to raise funds for the poor community of Safed.
