Genius and modest: wonderful Drushim on Parashat Terumah handwritten by the Holy Gaon ‘Meloh HaRoim’ Rabbi Yaakov Zvi Yalish of Dinov, a Gaon of Poland. With a rare discovery handwritten by him about an error in tone of the verses mentioned in the text.
Rabbi Yaakov Zvi presents the verse ‘VeEt Chameshet HaYeriot Ta’asu’ and elucidates on this verse. Yet, in his great modesty he adds a handwritten comment on what he previously wrote: the verse VeEt Chameshet HYeriot Ta’asu’ in not mentioned in the Torah and there has been a mistake and I must study the Biblical verses to see the correct verse. Extremely rare.
The renowned Tzaddik Rabbi Yaakov Zvi Yalish of Dinov [1777-1824], one of the renowned Geonim of Poland. Served as Rabbi and Admor in Glagov, Husakov and Dinov. A lofty Tzaddik. Was known as ‘Meloh HaRoim’ after the sefer he authored and authored many additional sefarim on all parts of the Holy Torah. Sharp and proficient in the Nigleh and the Nistar. The leading disciple of the Holy Rabbi the Chozeh of Lublin, the Holy Rabbi Yisrael the Maggid of Kozhnitz and the Holy Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Rimnov. Rabbi Yissachar of Dinov notes in his approbation that ‘Hashem is with him since Halacha is ruled according to his opinion’.
