Pilpul on the words of Moron the Chasam Sofer – handwritten during his lifetime by his disciple and step-in-law Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Weinberger Abd of Kleinwardein.

In the Pilpul which was written to ‘my friend the wonderful righteous and great scholar, sharp and clever, perfect in virtue Rabbi Yosef’ who discusses the words of Moron the Chasam Sofer. Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak explains and reconciles the words of his Rabbi the Chasam Sofer.

On the margins of the letter, Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak deals with a Shiduch offered to the righteous scholar, the addressee of the letter, mediates in details of how much to commit to before the Shiduch and how much after the wedding.

On the back of the leaf, a long Yiddish agreement, apparently a draft of a monetary and charity agreement. Possibly, he sent this as well to his exceptional disciple, which the letter indicates he cares for all his spiritual and material matters like a merciful father.
