Letter by Rabbi Shmuel Rosenberg Abd of Unsdorf, to Rabbi Binyamin (ben Rabbi Yechezkel Segal] Abd of Miklash, in which he states his willingness to conduct a Gett and setting the date for it. Postcard, handwritten and signed by him.

The Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Rosenberg (1842-1919), author of "Be’er Shmuel", one of the greatest rabbis, leader of orthodox Jews and a Rosh Yeshiva in Hungary. His father, Rabbi Yisrael Yonah Zvoi Rosenberg, Abd of Tisa Fird was a disciple of the Chasam Sofer and Ketav Sofer. Rabbi Shmuel srved as a Rav in Tshaba and Rav in Unsdorf, where he established and headed a large, important and renowned Yeshiva. Many leding rabbis of Hungary were his disciples, including Rabbi Yehoshua Buxboim Abd of Galanta and Rabbi Shmuel David Unger Abd of Nietra.
